Round #5 of the NBDRA Scramble Series held in Riverglade, NB and presented by Toys for Big Boys.

Toys for Big Boys have supported the NB offroad community since they were founded in 1968 by Fred Northrup. Fred grew the company with core values of honesty and integrity in business that have laid the foundation for what has become one of the most successful business enterprises in the Greater Moncton Area. Larry Northrup, son of Fred, became president of Toys for Big Boys in 2006. Larry and Toys for Big Boys have been long time supporters of the NBDRA stepping up at times of need to supply the NBDRA with equipment and supplies to help make our Hare Scramble series a success. Toys for Big Boys offers the newest Harley-Davidson®, Honda, Honda Marine, Honda Power, Husqvarna, and KTM models. Their location is complete with service, parts, and sales departments. They are very much involved in the off-road riding community through the Riverglade MX park where they have weekly practices, motocross schools, and host Atlantic motocross races, a round of the Rockstar Energy Motocross Nationals and NBDRA’s final hare scramble event of the season. Welcome to the 4th round of our Harescramble series. We have often heard from our members that this is one of their favourite tracks. If you are looking for a track that has a nice flow, is fairly fast but is also filled with tight turns, this track is for you!

There will be prize donations during the event, courtesy of Royal Distributing our prize sponsor.

Registration will open two weeks prior to the event until 8PM the Friday before the race. At which time registration will switch to a late registration fee of an additional $20.

Children must be accompanied by an adult and pets kept on a leash.

All spectators must sign a waver.

All riders must have a proper number registered to them before race registration closes.

NEW FOR 2025

RULEBOOK: We have updated our rule book to further enhance our events. Please take a moment to review the updated rule book to ensure you are current with all rules.

Junior Class Update: The Junior class now has an age restriction of 14-25 years of age requiring racers to be at least 14 on the date of the event and 25 as of January 1st, 2025. Any rider turning 26 after January 1, 2025 is still eligible to race the Junior category.

Intermediate Class Update: The Intermediate B class has been moved from the afternoon to the morning start time of 11:30am to run with the Junior and Women categories. Race duration remains at 1hr30min.

The Intermediate B class is designed for riders that have exceeded the age requirement of the Junior class(14-25 years of age), novice and newer racers.The Intermediate B course may still offer obstacles and challenges but with more consideration to newer riders (compared to the afternoon race course that offers tougher challenges). Alternative routes will still be available to bypass more challenging obstacles.

Transponders: New for 2025 will be the use of electronic timing through Livelaps, requiring racers to own a transponder needing to be mounted to the underside of their helmet visor.

** Those with chrome helmets will require a special transponder mounted to the top of their helmet.
